Shirley Chowdhary

Shirley is an internationally experienced leader with a diverse set of credentials across Indigenous education, law, financial services, funds management, journalism and the NFP sector.

Bio.

Shirley is a passionate advocate for Indigenous empowerment and diversity and inclusion, and has invested throughout her career to address these issues. This work was most recently recognized when she was selected as one of the 2019 AFR 100 Women of Influence.

Shirley’s most recent executive appointment was as the inaugural CEO of Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin’s GO Foundation, an Indigenous NFP providing holistic education pathways and financial support to Indigenous students across Australia. 

Shirley now advises organizations on how to build collaborative ecosystems to connect shareholder value with a deeper connection to impact and purpose. She believes fiercely in Reconciliation as the best future for Australia, and in diversity as a tool for innovation.
